Welcome to Rapid Moni Point Limited, “Rapid Moni Point”, is a financial technology company providing agency banking and payment services in Nigeria. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services.
Definitions:
– “Services” means our agency banking and payment services.
– “User” or “Customer” means you, the individual or entity using our Services.
– “Account” means your registered account with us.
– “Transaction” means any financial transaction processed through our Services.
User Agreement:
1. Acceptance: By using our Services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
2. Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old and have a valid Nigerian Government issued ID.
3. Registration: You must provide accurate information during registration.
4. Security: You are responsible for securing your Account login credentials.
Service-Specific Terms:
Agency Banking:
1. We act as agents for banks in Nigeria
2. Deposit and withdrawal limits apply.
3. We reserve the right to refuse transactions.
Payment Services:
1. We process payments through authorized payment channels.
2. Payment processing fees apply.
3. Transaction limits apply.
General Terms:
Compliance: You must comply with Nigerian laws and regulations according to:
1. The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) regulations and in adherence to Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) guidelines.
2. Anti-Money Laundering (AML): We adhere to AML policies.
3. Data Protection: We protect your personal data.
4. Dispute Resolution: We resolve disputes through peaceful dialogue by both parties, in the event where the dispute cannot be resolved via dialogue by both parties, then it will be resolved through mediation, before an independent mediator appointed by the Lagos State Multi Door Court House (LMDC).
Fees and Charges:
1. Service fees apply.
2. Transaction fees apply.
3. Terminals are under lease
Termination:
- We reserve the right to terminate your Account in the event of fraud or money laundering from agent’s wallet.
2. You can terminate your Account by written notice.
Disclaimer:
1. We are not liable for service interruptions.
2. We are not liable for fraudulent transactions done by agents as we will share information with other financial institutions regarding individuals, entities, organizations and countries for purposes of identifying and, where appropriate, reporting activities that we suspect may involve possible terrorist activity or money laundering.
Governing Law:
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Nigerian laws in compliance with Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) regulations and in adherence to Nigerian Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) guidelines.
Changes:
We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions.
